Right we're thinking of taking the plunge and booking up for next year's TT, what's the best way of going about it?

I had thought about just going over for the practice week from Sunday to Saturday, as we've never done the TT and I think child care for two weeks is likely to be difficult.

Obviously looking to go over on the bike, so will need to sort camping as well.

Book your ferry on the Steam Packet web site and research where you want to camp (no pun intended...lol)

There's some great camp sites at Laxey and Ramsey as well as the usual's like Silly Moos.

Evening practice when the sun is out is just the best atmosphere anywhere. You can here all the radios commentary as there's no traffic, it's almost like you could hear a pin drop. Then in the distance you can hear the wail of a bike on full chat, it's miles away but you can still hear it as it gets louder it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Then in a flash a travelling marshal has shot past sweeping the circuit....

Ferries for 2020 went on sale Monday gone. Go onto web site and see whats left, £60 deposit. Ferry needs to be paid in full by end of Feb 2020 then what isn't paid for are released 1st March.

Camping ... look at Douglas rugby Club, great for camping during TT with great facilities. We tend to go Thursday of practice week as that weekend is the party weekend, always good to have the party as well as the racing. Been going for 20 years now
