Heading to Greece in June, 3 weeks road trip back in July.

Anyone been there by bike and which route did you take. Slovenia and Croatia are on the list anywhere else is optional. I'll be camping mostly but also staying in a couple biker friendly BnBs.

Interested in anyone's experiences and where you stayed.

Guessing not many travel much outside the UK or maybe it's just into France if they do.

Can't believe out of all the bikers on fab none have been over that direction. Where do most of you go?

I haven't ridden to Greece yet, I have been to France & Spain lots, however I did look into it a year or so ago. Options- firstly your option of riding all the way, it's a lot of riding, long motorway days, wasn't worthwhile & not much fun for a 2 week trip. Secondly, ride down through Italy to Brindisi and get the night ferry across to Greece. Third option- this is pretty neat- ride to Dusseldorf ( 3 hours from Calais), get the overnight motorail train to Verona in Italy, then do the Brindisi ferry- that's the quickest option, can then spend the holiday riding around Greece leisurely.

I've changed destination now to Slovenia. Head on the 12th June.
