Been a few times. Done the ride from Bilbao and also stayed in calella and used a hire car. Its a great weekend but beware it is Hot with little shade.

Yes I went the other year stayed in Barcelona with some friends then they put on a bus from Barcelona to the circuit it’s aweaome! So much better than British GP

We camped next to the circuit the first time and it was a short walk in to the town of Montmelo which they shut off to cars and it was rammed with bikes at night with a great party atmosphere. Yep it's a lot cheeper and guaranteed to run lol

There is/was a camping area set up on the service road that surrounds the circuit. I think it was around £80 for us both for 3/4 nights they had a bar and restaurant set up next to it.. You wake up around 4am due to sunrise and heat feeling a need to drink a lake lol ps you get to bed around 3am
