Ashford

Dee has treated me to another track day as a birthday present which we will be going to on Saturday 29th at Lydden Hill circuit.

Hopefully be a bit cooler or I will melt in my one piece leathers.

You get about a bit. I’v always been a road rider, biker rallies and parties are our main enjoyment, so it’s off with the top box and rack, and minor preparation for the track.

Enjoy the rest of the season.

Just running standard sports touring PR4’s which were good enough for my old dinosaur VTR1000 and good enough to go faster than a new all singing all dancing Ducati with sticky rubber on my first time out in the novice sessions.

Been advised to go up to intermediates.

Now this could be biting off more than I can chew, but I’ll find out on Saturday.

Love the firestorm. Great bike... I'm only in the novicw group, but had some fun with 600 sportsbike riders..mine was the oldest heaviest bike on track.. But kept some other riders on their toes.. Lol

If your going to nurburgring everything closes at 7.30 -8pm even the bar and restaurant in our hotel did I couldn’t believe it

If there’s a rock concert or beer festival on then everything stays open be as careful as poss if you intend to ride it

Had a fantastic day yesterday at Lydden Hill riding on the edge. Unfortunately there was more red flags being waved than at a bull fight in the morning.

Got home and went out for another ride. Stopped along the way and the bloody ground gave way under side stand bike fell over doing the fairing and clutch lever.

Iv e never had a incident after a track day.. but forgot to strap my r6 to trailer properly on way to one.

Didn't end well watching in mirror as bike cartwheels down the road..

I still get piss taken about it

Near Wells

I've actually raced a lot over the years and done lots of practice and track days. Still enjoy going to race meetings.

I raced a lot over the years, just love getting on bike now and enjoying it with no pressure.

Not so keen on watching, gets competitive side wanting more.
