"Qaurter Bridge ( aka Douglas Rugby Club campsite) is ideal. However I would recommend you pack a small tent of your own, as to hire one already erected from the site would be very expensive. Enjoy " Always best to inspect your own erection prior leaving to make sure its ok. Nothing worse than finding an issue getting it up or a broken pole.

"Awesome ill look into that then thanks, was hoping to be close to the dock as we will arrive at 10pm" "Awesome ill look into that then thanks, was hoping to be close to the dock as we will arrive at 10pm" If you don’t fancy camping you could look into TT Homestay. It’s a bit like Airbnb, but been around longer and is supported and approved by IOM Government. Locals can take people into their homes and charge a set rate for B&B. I think it’s about £30 per night or something like that. You should be able to get information on IOM Government website. Douglas Rugby club campsite (Braddan Bridge) is probably the closet to the ferry port, though there are others the opposite end of the promenade from ferry port (near Governors Bridge)

"If you don't fancy lugging a tent over you can go to one of the campsites where a tent is already waiting. Quarter bridge is ok and not to far if you've got doubts about the reliability of your bike ?! But to be honest I'd try to sort this before you go. Reliability isnt really an issue its well looked after and i do most of my own work on it so i know its done right, but if anythings going to happen then sods law says it will be on the island haha...thanks for all the advice Plenty of petrol stations and a few good garages, if it's minor niggles other friendly bikers usually assist. Get your local garage to give it a pre trip once over and get a recovery service membership. "
