Hey folks I'm needing a bit of advice for a Christmas present.

I'm looking to get hubby a SAT NAV and a couple of other bits for his bike.

Any recommendations on which one to get?

A bit late with my reply however you can't go wrong with a Garmin or TomTom.

Guess you have one by now so where are you going this year?

Touring holidays in Europe in organised groups certainly have potential for some fun...

Tom Tom I found difficult to use, Garmin are great, I have had them for years, still have my first one in my works van. Must be 15 years old. You can put in twisty roads and it will get you to your destination on the best biking roads without having to pre plan it.

They are great.

Tom Tom I am sure are good too, just didn’t suit me the way they worked.

I think it’s only really these 2 manufacturers that have made bike specific Navs.

I have a Tom Tom which is good but doesn't do live updates as the Bluetooth keeps going.

Not so crucial on a bike but it didn't help me in Amsterdam when a road was closed and ended up using Google maps on my phone.
