"125 good for you hope you get your cbt over with but my advice is get some experience on the 125 then go for a little bigger engine size I had yam 125 a few years back but found it was to slow for the fast moving traffic of nowadays & seemed to be getting in everyone’s way except in slow traffic def opened my eyes a lot to how vulnerable it made me but you choose what your comfortable with " I think i will be desperate to move up, but that all depends on money and insurance. "The cb125f if a good bike, you’ll have a blast on it and still plenty of nice days left in the year to get out on it… eventually you’ll want something bigger but until then enjoy your 125. If you ride with anyone else, remember to ride your own ride! " Dont have any friends with bikes yet so I will be solo riding for a while | |||

"Congratulations on your bike! The cbf is a perfect beginner bike. Do you have somone to show you the baisics before your mot? Even if you can pull off, and change gear it will make your cbt so much easier! But welcome to the family " No i dont but I have been watching videos to get a basic idea. Understand the gears, the clutch snd throttle. Front and back brake placement too. It will just be a case of putting it into practice on the day. My brother and his family are into it but 400 miles away. My cousins are into it but none would have a bike small enough for me to be comfortable practicing on. I'm not sure any of the cousins bikes are even legal, let alone them having licences anymore so I'll stay clear. | |||

It's a female club with groups all over and they welcome all riders and abilities. My GF is in The Borders group and I know there is one in Edinburgh so I gues there is something on the west coast to | |||

"Well done. The little honda's are usually super reliable. Get to your CBT early and be the last to leave. Ask every question and ride as much as you can for the day. When you're on the honda try to choose the quite times and ride for miles. And, as a previous poster said, Ride your own Road." Thanks for the cbt advice. I'll do that.
