Would you please let us know what it was like? We are considering EICMA instead of Motorcycle Live next year. But wondered what it all adds to costs, travel time and the whole experience.

It’s worth keeping in mind that Eicma is predominantly trade. There’s very little retail there;

Working in the industry I go for supplier meetings etc

I went last year. Won't be going to nec again it was on a different level. Every manufacturer you can imagine plus loads youve never heard of. Massive place tons of food

/drink options which wasn't overly expensive for somewhere like that and quality was good, think it was 5 euro for a pint of poretti. More a festival feeling with music and stuff going on all over. Lot of people there which you could tell by lunchtime. Cheaper entry than nec and metro to get there was next to nothing. Milans a nice city too.

We try and go every year...missed last year due to work

its just truly spectacular if you're a biker

12 super huge halls on the go this year ( think NEC size X 12 )..and over 600,000 visitors usually over the 6 days..

2 day trade days and 4 days public days

20 euros entry fee

plus its on the red line of the metro so pennies to get to it ...

Thurs /Frid are the quiet days

sat/sun are the rammed days

Mostly italians so its a good rammed

Plenty glamour glitz and pumping music too

Still contemplating it now I know my surgery is next week I can make plans just wether I can scrape the pennies together

I personally taught it was 10 times better than NEC

And there's a fantastic club there also
