After 16 days at TT in our campervan, our next is 7 days as Manx. We loved having the van over with our bike packed neatly in the back. Not so long this visit so we won't be dotting around this time, most likely to be found parked up in Douglas. TT we parked up at Peel harbour, which was lovely, then Laxey prom, which was amazing, before heading to Douglas for race week. Roll on Manx GP

That place in douglas is getting to popular. One day I counted 23 camper vans. And some of them taking up 2 spots

I can see laxey prom in your profile. Tea from the Shed all day long.

Well lets see what this years brings us. Please only ask us to meet if you are genuinely going to meet. We know everyone is busy with whatever they are doing as it will be a busy week. If we say 'yes we'll meet' we will be there at the suggested time and place. Time wasters please pass us by as we've had plenty over on the Rock over the years

I think it’s more reliable than the manxman, and as for the cat from Liverpool that’s always breaking

We love the Manxman. All ships breakdown and we know it's much better than the Ben but no one goes to face thing when the Manxman has to step up to fill the void. We'd sail on the Manxman all day long rather than the other two. Even the Arrow is now in dry dock due to a fault.

We used to love the Mannannin till the Manxman came along. She's getting old now but think they are looking to replace her by 2030. They are budgeting around £120m for a new custom-built vessel

I’ve done the Ben as a foot passenger a couple of times, this will be the first time on the Mannanan, and I’m taking the bike over for the first time too.

Timings just worked out better for the cat, even with the extra travel time to Liverpool

Unfortunately I’ll be back home by then, I’m only there for the weekend. As I had to plan it around work and other things. The Manx GP wasn’t the original plan, just happens to start while I’m there.

Well I’m back home again, had a great weekend exploring the island, riding the course, and saw some of the practice on Sunday, before the red flag and weather stopped the session.

Hope the weather picks back up for those of you going over this week
