Sheffield

Me and three mates have just booked tickets from Hull to Rotterdam for the summer for two weeks.

Intending to ride down through Germany and do the B550 then into Austria for the Glossknoker High Road and then onto the Stelvio Pass, before returning via France.

Any other recommendations while we're there?

Walsall

The gavia pass. Near the Stelvio. Then home through the fluela pass and the susten pass in Switzerland. Down to Geneva, then the over the Jura’s. Back up the N5 through France.

Best advice is look at Google maps and plot a route from what the roads look like. Still love the B500 even with all the lower speed limits.

North Inverness

If you can go and visit the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum...amazing place! Find it on Google maps 3hrs from Stelvio and fantastic roads too..

Timmelsjochstraße 8, 6456 Hochgurgl, Austria

Stay in Andermatt and you can do a loop of the Furka (used in goldfinger), Susten and Grimsel pass. Plus the roads going in and out of Andermatt are great.

The Stelvio is ok, and glad I’ve done it, but more like doing a black run in a ski resort that’s tricky but not actually amazing.

What bikes you on?

stop off on the b500 for a toboggan run.

Stay Andermatt/ Lucerne area, get up early to beat the cyclists and motorhomes and do a loop of all the passes as above.

Mulhouse, Colmar, nice places to visit.

Trier as well depending on route back,

There is also Reims for the old race track pics and champagne tours.

Have fun.

Two of us on 1250 GSA's, one on a Tiger 900. Not sure about the fourth...
