I’m surprised more road riders don’t ride trials through the winter tbh, ridiculously cheap to do (£20 entry fee), one on most weekend, really social atmosphere, you pick it up quite quickly and there’s always someone to pass on hints and tips.

Best thing is it’ll improve your riding no end.

Mountain biked since late 80’s😬, Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa is good fun but make sure you’re padded up.

Ive been riding mtb on and off since I was a kid. Since loosing a load of weight it’s now just renewed the passion for it. And the temptation of more bikes is a struggle.

I live 10 min ride from hadleigh bike park it’s a cross country track used during the olympics but it’s great for keeping your fitness up

It’s as good a place as any, huge plus point is you can ride it all year round plus nothing too technical there either.

I’ve had some great alfresco fun just off the main trails a few times with some fellow female mtb friends there.

I've only been on a Mountain Bike a few times but I'm out on my gravel bike every week doing an average of 50 miles a week (during the Autumn and Winter months); of which, approximately 30% is off road on Green Lanes and Bridle Paths.

I find the Gravel Bike to be a good hybrid between a Mountain Bike and a Road Bike; I've used mine for cycle touring and it's been perfect; it allows me to exploit great routes that use roads, river and canal paths, disused railway routes and pretty much everything in between (except pedestrian only routes); these are often longer with more hills but safer than using the main roads.
