It's that time again to start a thread for TT 2026 now Manx GP is over.

Post your TT 2026 stuff here folks.

Let's hope it's better weather for TT 2026.

Our ferry is booked just the balance to pay come February. Doesn't feel like a year since we started TT 2025 thread.

Log on to steam packet and have a look, you can't be choosy though as you have to take what's available if there are some crossings

Hubby and I are all booked up 10 days over race week! My first TT, so very excited! I was a bit of a princess and refused to stay in a tent. So we have a nice shepherds hut booked. No traipsing across a field for a pee in the middle of the night for me! Haha

Being a local I hoped the Isle of man’s swinging scene would pick up during TT/MGP but unfortunately I don’t think it does 😔

We are doing TT 2026 a little different from previous years. We have stopped with a mate in Douglas for many years taking the bike on the ferry. 2026 we are putting the bike in the back of our newly converted campervan and becoming nomads for 16 days.

It picked up a little when I was over in my house in Douglas.

Got about 4 meets done... would have been more but picked up the TT bug when out & about marshaling.

Also seemed to be a huge number of no-shows. Annoying as I was the one able to accommodate.

Must say though, having worked the MGP last year I thought that was a much better event.

TT seemed to attract a totally different type of spectator and not for the better.

Is there much threesome scene in the island for TT? Only went last year for the first time, loved the island and roads, not to mention the people. However left thinking to add to the adrenaline would love to have fun with a couple and never tried. Met one couple and the wife being very pretty, they were a lovely couple. The wife did place her hands on me a few times but honestly the practice session was on so my mind actually just was mesmerised by the speed🤣

We've managed one or two meets at TT, not an easy fete to find people and Manx folk it's nearly impossible as they are so apprehensive.

Such a shame honestly whats better than bikes and sex… nothing else that I could think of.

Sometimes though its very difficult to know if a couple would even want to have a third. In reality there isn’t any tell tale signs.

If you press +quote when replying to someones post they will know who you are replying to.

Reading profiles,Communication and interaction is the only way you will know if a couple would be interested, the tell tale signs is in what reply you get.

Ahh thanks, I didn’t actually realise… everyday is a school day haha.

Always read profiles, love communication and interacting but when in person and meeting a couple randomly whilst at the island just doesn’t happen.

Even though I have met and enjoyed threesomes or group fun it’s always been at clubs not by chance if you know what I mean. Would be awesome to meet at my favourite island and have a nice sexy week haha.

Well we get so many messages from men who don't read, probably 99.9%, which is why we said it. As for out and about in vanilla land the island is no different to your local town.

Absolutely, have sent messages but its either hoping a couple would read the message out of 300-500 in their inbox or probably not interested in a different ethnicity who knows or if they do message once then never to be heard from again. Haha its brutal in here 🫠

My first wife didn't like me going to TT so we got divorced over it. That was back in 2003. Met Mrs F and we've been going every year since together. TT was even sited on the divorce petition, how cool is that

Well we have just got round to trying the bike for size in the back of the van. Had it in before the conversion so we knew it goes in, BUT... The space between kitchen unit and shower room is to narrow to fit the bike in forward due to the wide tank and handle bars. It will have to go in backwards. So, a winch has now been fitted behind bulkhead to gently pull the bike up the bike ramp backwards. This weekend will be the test fit, wish us luck

I’m going over solo but taking my camper van (merc sprinter ) with awning, I’ve got a place I stay not far from Douglas that’s private but only a 15 min walk to the grandstand and close to all the bus routes , if any couples need somewhere they could pitch up in the awning no problem , even have a porta loo set up .. real posh haha

It's very addictive, we go every year. 2026 will be different for us as we are taking our newly converted campervan, bike in back as couldn't go without a bike. We'll be all over the island this time as we have no base. Have van will travel

I know that I'm way too late for the 2026 TT, but at what point do/can you start booking the ferry for 2027? And if you want to go for the fortnight what is best crossing days/times ie book a day or two before it all kicks off, then the same for the ferry home.

Im trying to get a couple of friends to join me, but we all live in different parts of the country so it's a bit like herding cats to get things organised.

We booked for 2026 TT the week before 2025 TT. The ferry company releases all the sailing at 8.30am the Monday before practice week. Logging onto their site can take you all morning. You have to be dedicated and patient. When you eventually get onto the booking page enter the days and times you want to go and come back. All about having your date options ready before you log in so you can get it done swiftly, you don't want to get logged out due to you taking to long and dithering. You pay a deposit, usually £90 per booking, then the balance is sent to you November and paid before the end of February. We have just paid our balance today for TT 2026. Hope that helps

That is very useful to know thank you.

How much were the tickets in the end as when I looked last year it was £90 deposit both ways, with them to decide the final price around now.

"

Possibly at TT time, but the ferry DOES take caravans the rest of the year.

I know people who book to take larger vehicles over a week or so before the restrictions kick in, park them up with a local contact, then come back as foot passenger to the UK then return here as foot passenger for the main event.

Just read the rules on caravans. Apparently you need a special permit from Isle of Man Government and to be pre-booked onto an official campsite before booking the ferry. Who knew.

I go over 29th to the 7th in my sprinter van converted , plus a full awning I’ve got a place in a friends garden not far away from grandstand, about 15 minute walk; I’m happy to share the occasional night with couples that are stuck, on the basis that you are sociable, not necessarily wanting to play but not shy either ya know what I mean haha , couples or females only will be considered if you need the odd night

I listen in to Manx Tadio TT during the course of the festival and in the mornings prior to racing they usually interview the Police, Fire, health care etc abour how theybplan and deal with the gestival. It was mentioned that by the health care workers that they do see a spike in attendance to the sexual health clinic in the weeks following the TT.
