Moto Guzzi v7 - first bike

More looking for advice over anything else.

Started working towards my DAS and wanted to know thoughts on V7 Stone for a first bike?

So many people say start on a 300-400cc, others say just be sensible. BHP seems a better metric anyway.

Thoughts?

I think the v7 is a great bike, very underrated and can’t really understand why it’s not as popular as it should be. It’s quite a classy bike, built well and a little bit quirky. I don’t think it’s the quickest bike out there but plenty of power for enjoying the back roads. Drive driven so low maintenance, you get a lot for your money for a classic Italian bike.
