the land of unicorns and fairytales

Accommodation has been booked since last year but now ferry tickets are bought

Coming over wed to Sunday at the minute going to chance the wed sailing to Monday if the weather is looking good for a few days touring

Staying in the garvagh area in some lovely accommodation with hot tub and sharing with a couple who are good friends but they’re not FAB friends but fully aware I’m on the site

They have a large house booked overlooking Strand Beach, not far from York Corner.

I'm not sure if there is free access, but we picked our paddock passes up yesterday and was told that as most of the teams were arriving this morning (After Oulton Park) then there would be no access until this evening at the earliest....

I picked a bug up and was ill on the trip home. Threw up three times.

Slept for 17 hours when I got home.

Has to come back to bed this morning as I'm wiped out.

Still looking forward to next year though...

It was a cold one this year, a sunny day but a sharp north breeze. We had a great day despite me not feeling very well and little sleep the night before. We were lucky with the spot we got to watch from. We did leave a bit early because of how cold it was, even with woolly hats and long coats.

I’m still struggling tbh being a woman has a lot to answer for my mood has been awful

Mental health at its worst can’t stop crying and my body is screaming at me as well like wtf go ahead and do one xx hope the sickness bug is away now and was only a 24hour thing
