As per the title, looking for a sports tourer, 170 mph + as low weight as possible, BMW k1300s possibly.

Any other suggestions.

If anyone fancies lecturing about speeding please keep it to yourself, I'm not interested.

If you don't want to go fast then don't.

I do.

Between Ely and Mildenhall

Having a sports tourer that can achieve 170mph is a good idea for track days (if that's your idea) Not sure how good at touring it would be though, as the riding position might be a bit too extreme for low speeds. Good luck on your search though

Thanks I'll do that.

Not interested in track days, I just want something that'll shift when required.

One of my bikes is a KTM super duke GT acknowledged by MCN as the fastest sports tourer (see their guide) and it doesn’t disappoint. 3 of the others are faster RC8, Tuono V4 and RSV4 it’s horses for courses and all subjective. I ride the RSV4 to the ring regularly no problem and rode one most of the way across Oz

The main thing is we all enjoy ride fast and stay safe

Get yourself a MV Agusta F4 RC

It's very light and will do your 170 + 30 if enough room and less cross winds.

Best bike I've owned

Had a k1200s, engine was awesome, proper warp drive acceleration, but eventually sold it off as suspension no good on our crap roads, .. 1300 is more of the same, excellent bike... Shit UK roads
