So yesterday I was out riding in my motorbike

We got a SOS call from someone who was riding to meet us that he had been side swiped by a car and was on the tarmac. The car drove off and left him

2 of us went to the location where he said he was. He was not there. Took nearly an hour of riding various routes and loops to find him

He is now in hospital with spinal and rib injuries

So firstly please be aware of all road users especially with the sun being lower at this time of year

Also if you’re out travelling alone you can drop a “pin” on various apps including whattsapp of your location

Trying to find someone and not knowing what you’re arriving at is not the nicest of feelings
