Is anyone else going? We’re heading off down there today to pitch our tent. Really excited for Day of Champions tomorrow and seeing the 75th Anniversary liveries.

Was another great weekend at Woodlands. Did anyone see that guy on the campsite with a motorised wheelie bin? It's a crazy place lol

We won't be going due to the stupid date change and no day or champions.

I found Silverstone really disappointing last year at the Moto GP. They seem to do everything they can to make it difficult for the fans and that was probably reflected in the attendance figures. This year I'll be attending the WSBK at Donington instead.

I'll still be following Moto GP on TV though.

Anyone remember the Brit GP heyday, camping at Donington mid 80's to early 90's before the fun police came in ? Vehicles allowed next to your tent. Campfires fed by articulated lorries full of wood so we didn't cut down anymore trees.Fireworks in line with a flight path. Guys roof surfing on vans, Guys skiing on bread baskets towed by vans/ cars / bikes. Wheelies, burnouts with petrol poured on the tyre, doughnuts, female topless pillions, nude riders, football with lit petrol can, anyone who says modern campsites are wild... you ain't lived

Ellesmere port

I camped at Assen in 2004 (I think) that was absolutely mental, crazy Dutch and Germans.

I'm going to Silverstone this year, first time for GPs over here, camping on my my own. Hopefully the camping isn't too dull. Doing either 2 or 3 nights.

Remember them days with great memories, I was one of the after dark wheelie boys brilliant then big revs till your down pipes glow red so you could light your fag

"Sweethot are you going to Silverstone? "

Haven't been to Silverstone GP for possibly 13 years. Didn't like having to watch a live event on a big screen because there were no decent spectator areas. Will be at Doni for WSBK, a proper spectator circuit.

to be fair we had a great spot to watch from at Silverstone last year.. but nit going this year due to the date change as off to the IOM instead.

Will be at wsbk as Donington is an epic circuit.. I do miss the GP being there x
