"I have been looking at a new bike for this year to get back into biking, so far I have been looking at big adventure bikes. Someone told me to consider the BMW R1100RT, anyone ride one of these, are they any good?" I have recently returned from a trip to Morocco on a 1997 R1100GS without any issues and probably the most comfortable of all bikes I have owned over 40 years! It is a better all-round bike than the RT but is hefty! There is a reason the GS has been so popular for at least 20 years When looking at any older BMWs check the gauges and ABS work! | |||
