Hi all. Wondering if you could answer a question for me please?

I’ve wanted to do my bike Licence for some

Time now. Is there a way that a CBT and the other tests can be done all together (over a few days obviously) or does it have to be done CBT wait a while and then big bike test?

Apologies if that’s a stupid question. I can’t really

Seem to find an answer on the google

You can do it in a weeks long course if you can find a company who can fit you in.

Like the other guys said, yes it’s possible but recommended that you spread it out a bit to get the experience on a 125 and then are confident on the bigger bike.

Try calling local bike schools to you and see what they say.

I couldn't disagree more. If you're eligible for a full licence then time on a 125cc will make it harder to pass your test. Go straight to a big bike and get your test done. But you shouldn't do it in one week; you should allow at least a week between mod 1 and 2 in case you fail mod 1 so you don't lose the test fee.

Thanks all.

I have experience riding bikes (grew up on a farm and yeah I know it’s different) so I’m

Confident in a bike just never fancies a road bike until now

Fast bikes did an article on this years ago.

Do your CBT, then small bike test. Buy the bike that you want to ride after passing your full bike test, get it restricted to what ever the current restrictions are. Once you pass your bike test, get the restrictor off and enjoy.

They used a Huyabusa, even restricted to 34bhp, it still went bloody fast.

Can't do that anymore unfortunately. Well you can sort of but the bike has to be less than 94bhp in standard form iirc to be able to restrct it to 33bhp for a1 licence, so busas etc are out
