ive got a vw with an autobox. its just point and go. i bought it as a fixerup and have done a few bits but not a lot. otherthan getting a 2 mouth bj its the best fun ive ever had. chk out brothers of the 3rd wheel and fb trike groups for more ides. take someone with you who knows about trikes before handing over any money

The harley free wheeler might be a bit cheaper.

But both would be comfortable for long rides and almost endlessly customisable (is that a word) to suit yourselves. Obviously a trike has all the disadvantages of a bike and car as you are exposed to the weather and get stuck in traffic. But has the advantage of taking more luggage than a bike and you still get the "bike" experience of the wind in your face and eating a few flies ha ha. But they handle completely different to a bike. Take your time to get used to it.
