wonderland.

So what did we all think to the opening weekend???

Personally thought the first race was exceptional...

We have a good amount of British riders this year... 6 in total.

I was very glad to have 2 wheel racing back on

I’ve never been able to take it seriously, I know it’s competitive, I know it’s exciting and British riders have often done well but it’s just not for me, I think Fogarty was probably the main reason for my disdain.

Thought it was a good weekend, although still haven't seen the end of the last race (delayed messed up my recordings)

Hopefully weight limits keep it competitive throughout the season.

Wonder how Rea is feeling with lowes being top of the standings

I'm BSB, WSBK then motogp. Attend as many bsb events as I can and usually hit one WSBK round in Europe

The weight rule is b.s though, as only one rider being penalised by it. The smallest guy, already riding heaviest bike. When rea was dominating, all they did was lower his rev limit. Just cuz duke, and alvaro are great package, hes been shafted. Hope he does it again though to say now what you gona do

Can it really be called a world championship if all but on round are in Europe?

I think the weight rule is fair. You lower the rev limit and all the dukes get lowered where that seems unfair on all the other Duke riders who are already running mid pack. I think this year we will see some close racing all the way to the end, not Alvero pulling off down the road and the excitement being between everyone else.

My point being though, theyve done it to penalise 1 man. Did they cry about bautistas weight when he was mid pack on a honda. No, but he was still as light smsller guy, less strength, but expected to throw an even heavier bike around. Folk say about moto3 do it etc, but their bikes weigh same as a bag of sugar. These things are close on 175 kilos

It's about keeping the racing close and the sponsors happy. If he dissappears down the road, the cameras aren't on him and the sponsors don't get seen. If he is mixing with the battle for the lead, plenty of screen time
