Where is nice to tour in the UK, not the NC 500 as its as busy as London in spring summer and early autumn, dont fancy the north atlantic way in Ireland either, I live in County Durham so the Yorkshire moor area is a local ride, any nice ideas welcome

Near Abercynon

Have a Google of the Northumberland 250, that's really good but maybe too local for you.

I'd vote for Wales too, we live here at the moment and there are some cracking roads and places to visit.

Don't forget Scotland is a lot more than just the nc500

Are you camping or b&bs?

There's also the lake district

I rent a house in Eskdale and tour around there

Durham

Head up to Stirling via A68 then the shit bit towards Stirling. Then head towards Oban via Calender, Tyndrum and the Glens. Amazing. We took a ferry from Oban onto Outer Hebrides then back on a ferry via Isle of Skye taking in Applecross and back down the road home

You could try the Lincolnshire wolds. Some good rides around there.

Ashford

Without doubt the best roadtrip we’ve been on was around the Lake District, taking on the challenging Hardknott Pass. The roads are made for riding and scenery are superb to the point of surreal.

Aberdeenshire

A 93 to Braemar n Royal d side then on up to Cairn o mount to Edzel picking up single track roads hugging hills going south on Angus glens. Glen Clova being one to slip up on way down. Pick up on the A 951 back to A93. Good circuit.

Somewhere called...

Some of those suggestions sound amazing, one day I may even get out of the crowded southeast and get to do some of them

Stay safe and keep riding.

"bite the bullet pay the ferryman and get over to the isle of man still even with all the bankers there, a bikers paradise"

Not only for TT, which is a bikers paradise whether you are into racing or not. Isle of Man has some of the best roads up and down the Island for bikers
