"Going and sitting on a few to see what feels right isn't a bad way to start. And older sv or v-strom my fit the bill for you." Been to a few bike shops but loads don’t like you sitting on bikes unless you talk to a salesman.

"There a few dotted about the country try superbike factory. They have a few locations throughout the UK and cover plenty of types of bikes and cc ranges. Then you can get a good feel for a type or manufacturer of bike even if they dont have one at that particular showroom." Superbike factory is one of the places that get arsey if you try and sit on the bikes without a salesman. Great choice of bike but very pushy.

Best thing to do is make yourself as visible as you can, and try riding in a group with friends if you can it's much more fun, and safer

I love my lid but I’ve already decided to go for a brighter one. Probably the same model though.

"Don't compromise and get what you want. Or you'll waste your money and want to switch up to what you should have bought in the first place later anyway. " I can’t get what I want……. I can only afford one bike But yeah I get what you mean. I’m going to look at a few on Saturday.

" Great idea, when you get a new one make sure it's a really tight fit because it will loosen up after a short while, also make sure you don't scrimp on it get a good make and spend some decent money on it, at the end of the day it could save your life my preferred make is AGV, but each make will fit people slightly differently and it's personal choice. Keep safe and if you need any advice just ask mate, and welcome to the bikeing community!

Congrats, just keep your head on a swivel... when out riding i assume i am invisible, or all others drivers are out to run me over, done me well so far." That’s pretty much what I’ve been taught. Also I’m a cyclist so it’s ingrained into me anyway.

"Second hand Honda NS125f in red white and blue. Great wee starter bike so long ago." Well. Technically my first bike was an Aprillia Rs125 when I was 17, and more recently I’ve been riding a Suzuki VanVan 125 since I passed my CBT last year. Now I’m the proud owner of a 2012 Triumph Tiger XC
