We will be on our way in just over 3 weeks. The sailings for TT 2024 go on sale Monday 22nd at 8.30am so we will be at our keyboard trying to get the sailings of our choice all morning no doubt

Ramsey

The mountain has been shut for weeks due to big rockfall at Waterworks & they are aiming to reopen it on the 15th but it could be squeaky bum time. Road is shut more than it's open these days, any excuse to close it during normal time & TT is taken.

I am planning a day trip on 29th May. First time for the TT, sooo excited...

We are flying so need to get from the airport. Will we be able to get a bus?

Also what are the chances of getting to a few different spots between sessions?

Monday 29th seems quite a packed schedule, do you think we will have to pick a spot and stick to it?

If you are heading to Douglas yes a bus will get you there from Airport. If you get off at Pulrose you can get a spot at Quarter Bridge watching them coming down Bray Hill. Being on foot could be a problem trying to move spots but with some planning you could make it up to Paddock as long as you can find your way up the back roads or paths and it's a bit of a steep hill and should take half hour 45mins to walk it. Planning your route is the key

Thank you for confirming about the bus. I will look into the routes. Think we may start at Bray and then work up to the paddock and further around towards signpost. (as someone else has suggested to me)

Thanks again. Not long now, cannot wait.

Been listening to radio Manx this week and really enjoyed the coverage. The 2nd supertwin race sounded excellent, I felt for Dunlop having to retire, but it made for a good battle and allowed others who would normally be outside the top 3 to have a chance

"Well so far this has to be one of the best TTs for a while .couldnt go this year but the tv coverage was a good second . Big race tomorrow . Im going out on a limb as saying harrison"

I wanted Harrison to pinch it this year but sadly not, still smashed the back end out of it with a 2nd place on a bike that was 10mph -15mph slower than Dunlop and hickey's, great TT this year

Heading home on the 1.15am ferry, had such an epic week, early start most days due to my marshalling but it was well worth it. I’m sure Jamie Coward didn’t want to meet me yesterday!

From the perspective of those that go just for the racing we can safely say it was one of the best years yet !.

Great weather !..great racing !..great coverage!..great atmosphere and great people !..plus no visitor fatalities which is rare !.

Already looking forward to 2024!!

I'd not been since 2008 and was surprised at how well behaved everyone was on the roads, pretty much obeying the new speeds limits .

The temporary imposed speed limits during TT week ,are the best thing they have done for everyones safety…not necessarily what people want ,especially those that think they can ride like Rossi!, but definitely helps the majority return home safely
