Hi all, what you got? and where are you located? and what do you do for ride outs?

I’m based near Helensburgh and ride a blue Rocker and a ‘79 Ironhead. I’m old school with not many rules other than being legal.

Hope a Harley boy can answer me this? Been on the road on a bike since passing my test at 17 many years ago, I have always acknowledged bikers and years ago nearly all bikers would give you a nod or a wave back! Nowadays alot pretend that they haven't even seen you? But most Harley riders only seem to greet each other and think they are a cut above eveyone else when more often than not they are not the most capable of riders and it's all about image (fat beer bellies and tassled jackets and piss pot helmets! I feel terrible saying this but in the last couple of years when I no it's a Harley coming the other way I automatically give them the middle finger as a greeting. Terrible I know but just can't help it!

I am a harley rider, I always nod or wave to acknowledge all bikers,I dont agree harley riders think they are better than anyone else, most are older experienced riders like myself, we are all into biking because we enjoy it and of course what we ride is personal choice.

Bit closed minded if you ask me.

I've just recently got a harley and let onto everyone. Don't paint everyone with the same brush for the actions of the few

Just treat others the way you would like to be treated. Don't lower your standards to their level. Thats all anyone can do.

I agree, a fair few Harley riders are knobs but, so are a lot of others with differing types of ride.

We can only try to redeem the situation by keeping our own standrds up.

Old skool

Alright folks.

I had two. 883 Iron Sportster that I used when living in London as was small enough to get through traffic but I’ve just sold that as I also have a Sports Glide and use that more now I live away from London.

Any Newark/Lincoln folks on here?

Near You

I had an 833 and then a 1200 Sportster before moving to a Dyna Fat Bob. Went to Victory Cross Roads after that then a Street Glide before an Indian Chieftain. Back on standards now, had to sell the Chieftain in 2020, unfortunately. I've got a ZRX1200 and an XJR1300. I was hoping to get back into cruisers as I like the look of the new Low Rider ST, just can't afford it right now

Are you waving at club members? I ride a fat boy and r1, only thing I've got in common with you is we both ride bikes. I ignore everyone, except someone broken down, I've even pulled over for a broken down scooter.(I'm an ex 1%er).

Glasgow, Harley davidson Sportster 48 1200 Custom.

Disagree with the harley riders are rude post all the boys i know always make an effort even if its a nod, wave, leg out. Treat others how you want to be treated you never know who youll be giving the finger too it might come back round to bite you on the arse . Peace and love to all.
