How many of us up in the County Durham/Tyne & Wear area own bikes and would like to meet up with like minded folks? Im sure there must be a few on the site, Dont be shy come on say hello.

We have had this biker section of the forum for a while now. Seems the biker folk here are just like fab people who talk the talk about meeting but don't ever seem to take the last step. As you can see as it was 5 days ago since you posted this with no other fab biker forumite replying. Sorry to be negative. We used to post in here where we were going and only once in Whitby did we manage to get a social with another biker couple

Yes - deffo up for meets on the bike when the weather gets a bit better !

I’m looking for more of the social side , a good ride out, bit of a natter , get to know each other, then after that whatever happens naturally in time.

Also, i’m quite experienced at organising group rides including overnight accom. Clearly there needs to be some commitment from folk so will only do this for folk i trust etc

Great post, we used to organise loads of stuff in the past but realised we were keeping everyone else happy and never able to do what we wanted to do. As for anything that costs like overnight stuff 100% money up front and only refund if place has been took up by another. We like you like the social aspect. More so meeting up somewhere for a natter and coffee rather than the group ride out thing. Had enough of waiting around for the person who forgets to tell you they are not coming. So us 2 tend to head out on our bikes and if anyone wants to meet where we are arriving, happy days

Im alway up for a biker social meet up I used to run abike night but got sick of all the negitivity around it, ended up just being a regular 20 or so folks that used to turn up, There must be a few swinging bikers on here cant just be us haha

Meet at xx location at this time. Moving 15 mins later. No waiting for late comers. Next location is YY.

Its a big boys / big girls game . FFS - just be on time and bring a SOH !

used to go to a brilliant party in the north east number one rally think it was called absolutley one of the best parties of the year in a village where theres a monument to captain cook and the ride outs were amazing ...just stunning scenery ..and totally chilled people!!!!!

Followed the Scottish threads about riding out with fellow fab people, they seem to go well. However when I messaged a person trying to organise was told not that many turn up and they found it hard work trying to pull the fab bikers together for a ride out. At least one or two were up for it. Roll on the nice salt free roads

I was out yesterday for a hour or so testing new action cam took some of the back roafs from Barnard Castle to Darlington, nipped to Halfords for a mooche, over to sainsburys for a bite to eat and a coffee then back via the main road to Barny was nice ride out bit chilly on the hands though

Just been for a ride out to Seaham to see Tommy and have a bag of chips. Bloody fun fair on, couldn't get anywhere near the statue of Tommy. Turned round and came back home. Nice little ride out though

Where to start.. Happy new year.. and all that Jazz, Hope all the Ne/Durham Bikers are in good health, I am hoping to get the Barnard Castle Bike Nights up and running April this year, will be talking to the Café owner in the next few weeks to see if we can get it every 2 weeks instead on Monthly

, would be great if some of you guys came along, but please remember its a family event people do bring their young ones to see the bikes

also not just the swinger that are out there. keep it discrete let us know on here who's who and what you ride then a nod and hell is all you need. Ok enough of that, I had a nice hour out on the bike till it rained who else has been out and about.
