Anybody watch tonight's top gear tribute to Eddie kidd, never known the show to put so much emotion into a tribute to a great performer, certainly bought a tear to your eye..

Leyland

That was the best topgear feature ever, let's just say it suddenly got a bit smokey in our living room.

I'll check it out on the iplayer.

The last time I saw him was at the Rossendale Show and that must be twenty years ago-ish.

He was in his wheelchair but was looking well and enjoying himself.

I never knew much about him to be honest.. I'm sure I'd heard of him growing up, but that was maybe the best segment of top gear ever. Thoroughly moving. I'll admit my eyeballs were sweating a little bit. Bravo paddy mcguiness. Very well done.

Yes I agree with the rest of you best but if tv for ages. First time my Estes have had dust in them for ages lol.

Eddie kid is the reason I’m riding. I seen him live in Abergavenny. When I was a young Un and was hooked from then. And that was it never not had a motorbike in my life since then.

It was a brilliant tribute to him outstanding.

The man is a legend.
