"Get your bike and then go and learn to ride it properly. Find out your local branch of the IAM, join with them and enjoy the led rides and the individual rides with an instructor. Learn the Craft from them, it’s all about vision and what’s coming to you. It will save your life. " Couldn't agree more. As an ex observer I will guarantee it's the best thing you could ever do on a bike. Like poster says, it just might save your life. The road craft you will learn is trusted by all police, paramedics and blood bikers.

It’s a great thing and last week when on tour I passed so many bikes all sitting in line behind each other or in a group where they were blinding each other’s vision. Truly dangerous. !!

It transformed my riding and I’ve recently qualified as an IAM Observer which raises the bar to another level again. You never stop learning.
