Just got my bike license, live in greater Manchester. Not sure where to start. Any tips?

Get yourself a cheapish 500/600 to start with. Something like a suzuki 600bandit or cb500 cbr600

(don't do what I did and jump from a 125honda to 1000bmw!!!!)

Congratulations on passing your test!! time to get out and explore..think my fav best 1st biggish bike was an old honda cbr600f..great bike and so easy to ride and reliable. Then of course you can progress to big brother fireblade...especially a 954RR..enjoy and stay safe!

Me too, ex observer!! It’s a great thing and last week when on tour I passed so many bikes all sitting in line behind each other or in a group where they were blinding each other’s vision. Truly dangerous. !!

Yep, agree totally. It transformed my riding and I’ve recently qualified as an IAM Observer which raises the bar to another level again. You never stop learning.
