Hi folks. I’m looking for advice. I have a 2016 Triumph Scrambler 900. It’s a nice bike but impractical for touring because I can’t see how to get luggage on with the high exhaust. I’ve considered selling it but on reflection it’s a really good example so here is the £64,000 dollar question. Do the 900 Bonneville range share the same frame etc. Could I source exhaust pipes and mudguards and single seat from a standard Bonneville to convert mine? Any help is appreciated.

some pipes on the bonny on different years are not the same . .and on later models the pipes have a false piece in just to look the same. but the not .altered for emissions

Thanks. My 2016 Scrambler has O2 sensors. I guess I need to seek later pipes ie 2016 pipes ?

The scrambler frame has a triangular bracket hanging from the right hand seat rail, by the shock mount. Other Bonneville frames don't have this for exhaust fixing.

You can fit low level exhausts though and choose to not look at the redundant bracket. Side panel looks odd without the high level exhaust too, but can also be replaced.

I've toured on mine but don't have photos on here. Happy to send you some though.

I've added a Renntec rack for this year's trip (fingers crossed) and will still be taking the Trumpet over my BMW GS Adventure.
