I like a full face, I've come off before and only realised 5 weeks later is scuffed the chin of my lid... If it was a flip and open id have done my chinny chin chin.

Buying a new one next week hopefully, I'm going with scorpion this time

Flip ups for us !

You get to see people’s faces when stoped.

In town better view of street. Too hot flip up.

Paramedics prefer flip ups in accidents.

You have choice with flip ups.

Buy the flip up and if you don’t like the function don’t flip it up simples.

Flip up for me as it’s full face when I’m out on the road and up letting air flow in town traffic .. boots I wear short boots in hot summer weather but full when I’m heading away for a distance or tour

Arai rx7v myself never had a flip or open face lid, and TCX sports ankle boots with bike jeans for short sunny rides.

Used to love full face, but my shark flip lid is awesome, not heavy, still quiet, and it has the pump up cheeks to make it a snug fit, cut down wind noise, even comfy with Bluetooth headset in

I’ve only ever had full face helmets, I couldn’t see myself using a flip front helmet. Personal preference but after selling helmets and training with various brands, I generally stick to Arai.

Got a new Shoei full face last week and it's def came on a long way since my last new helmet..built in sun visor.. Slots to let glasses on etc don't think I could truly trust a flip up helmet.

Just yesterday picked up a new lid after trying to decide for the last 6 months.

Old shoei xspirit2 was pushing 7yrs old.

Decided to go for the arai quantic. Probably the weekend before I get to use it properly though.

Also to add the shoei current equivalents all have ratchet mechanisms with option to change to d ring for 100gbp, that influenced my decision to try arai this time around.

Seen a guy get knocked off his Honda 50 wearing a open face and he had no nose left.

Something to think about with the flip up
