Hi..new biker here after not having a bike since the 80s..which was my beloved RD125...what are people's thoughts on the new kawasaki 650 ninja KRT edition as a first bigger bike...thanks in advance

tip .... show your cash wad then test ride as many motorcycles as you can for minimum of 50 miles before making a decision.

If we are counting mopeds then it was my agrati garelli pedal and pop.

It’s it’s bike then my CZ 125

Funny thing is the Garelli was about 5mph quicker

Something reliable.

Easy to ride that's not got heaps of power but does everything well.

Honda cb650r. It's not flash some may say boring but to a new or returning rider it's all you need

I had the RC125 and its handling was lovely the 390 is the same with larger tyres and bigger engine

Honda cg 125 for first bike

Then once i passed the big bike test

Yahama xj600 diversion till it got stolen and i changed to mountain bike

I would generally advise people to pick a bike with no fairing as their first BIG bike. You "will probably" drop it and it takes very little to damage plastics. With a naked bike, you're only likely to bump handlebars and foot-pegs when you indignantly plonk it on the floor whilst trying to turn round in a carpark.

ER6 (ER5) engine is bullet proof. It’s a good big bike. You don’t need anything quicker in the road.
