Its a very uncomfortable bike with a horrid pillion position , not great wind protection, The riding position pops my arse up and out while spreading my legs wide, and the headlamp beam spread and reach is great, its heavy though , and has a fuel leak at the moment ! Think im heading that way too!

I rode an 800 belonging to the wife of a guy i met in the states in 2015, so in the morning we went to the shooting range, in the afternoon, i burbled along behind his tiumph tiger as we ambled through the missouri countryside near peculiar , kansas! Id say that was a fine day! regardless of the probability someone might try and spoil it , x

Cornwall/Devon

We have six bikes between us and we both ride.

1976 Honda 400/4. What a gem of a bike to ride!

1976 Honda Goldwing. The original ‘Plain Jane’ model.

1975 BMW R75/6. When BMW’s were sturdy, simple, and reliable.

2020 Royal Enfield 500 Classic Tribute Black. This bike is such fun to ride. Life slows down as it chuffs its way around B roads and lanes. A welcome different dimension from the hustle and bustle of life. We enjoy riding this bike the most.

Also two modern bikes for our annual month long camping road trips. (Shetland Islands last year). Yamaha XT 1200 Super Tenere and a Yamaha MT07.

The optimal number of bikes owned for a biker can be summed up in the following formula. n = number of bikes + 1.

Got rid of my Z1000 3 years ago and bought an NC750X as new job meant longer commute.

That job went with Covid, so now thinking about going back to muscle bikes, or maybe a green lane scratcher for the weekends

"CCM Moto X 500 1978 from my moto x days| "

A friend had a 3-speed 580 CCM around that time. I don't think he ever raced it but I remember my ride on it at the time like it was yesterday. Amazing bikes and I remember watching the works team in the moto-cross gp at Farleigh Castle. Outclassed by the two-strokes but looked and sounded fabulous.

Due to working threw the first lockdown and being the only person at work to not be put on furlough i recieved a nice bonus from work and decided to do my bike test, began it in august with the cbt etc as i hadnt had a bike (on road anyway) since being 16, was soo lucky to get right in and do my theory and mod 1 and mod 2 tests which was quite suprising due to all this pandemic, but hey passed everything with flying colours and bought myself a

16 plate

Kawasaki Z800

i love it and have been on it nearly every weekend since nov i feel riding in the rubbish weather can only make me a better rider for when the summer comes, cant wait to get the power down without spinning the rear wheel, hope to see some of you guys out when we get some nice sunshine
