I’ll hopefully be finding a wider rear wheel that fits mine so I can get a 180 on it rather than the skinny looking 160 tyre. A strip down and clean up and a HID headlight. That’ll do I reckon.

This week I've balanced the throttle bodies on the tigger. Over winter I'll fit stronger constant rate springs in the forks and bin those stupid progressive ones.

I'll probably stick a new clutch in the R1 and valve clearances on both. Enough to fill a couple of days.

If I get really bored I've a KR1-S to restore.

Drop engine out of my 85 XL600. Have a slight weep on the head gasket, might need to look at rethreading stud. Strip and clean the twin carbs and then reassemble. Plan to do that first week in January. Then a few things to add to the Africa Twin, new braided brake pipes and fit rear brake cylinder off a Varadero on to it.

Recently moved house and lost all the fobs to the alarm/immobiliser, which means installing a new one.

Then thinking of selling my GSX S750 and getting the KTM Duke 890R.

That's my bike plans this winter. Also fancying getting the Yam Tenere 700 as a commuter.

No need to cry over your head gasket, I'm sure it'll be ok

Got a rear seat cowl to spray and might as well do the tank at the same time.

Then need to have a good measure of the chain and sprockets to decide if they need replacing and a possible clutch change depending on if my next test ride is a success or not!

Then I’ve just bought a Scottoiler that needs fitting

I hadn't for about 2 yrs, but seeing as it was having to come out for the carb clean, it made sense. Glad I did. Little things like that on a bike annoy me.

All sorted there on Saturday. Love the XL. Braided lines arrived and waiting to be fitted to the AT now.

Do you use any protection oil? I use XCP one on all my bikes, found it to be best money spent.
