Yeah, that's what's kind of putting me off organising anything right now. Something I totally plan to do though. Maybe a few of us could get up there some time

Looking at doing it in a week - we know that is nowhere near enough time to see it all but time off work is the governing factor here.

Did it in September.. no free accommodation on the west coast at all on my final day due to the virus .. scourie to Ullapool hardly had any free spots as as they were all taken up by campers or vans .. was great though

I did it in a week from Essex, depends if you want to sightsee or just want to ride, I was doing 200-300miles a day and loved the roads. If any of your friends drop out I'd happily take a spot as some amazing roads up there

The plan is getting up to Inverness on day one, doing 100 (ish) miles per day on days 2-6, taking us back to Inverness, then ride home on day 7.

I know we are not going to be able to see everything but the ride will be will as good as the stationary parts.

Think wilma can only do the 2 nights as under the thumb, camping prob best bet as then we can just stop when we get too tired. Just need to all sort out date that we can work towards.

When we are going there’s also a number of vanillas looking to go along also so it’s not an exclusive group of fabbers but obviously some of us will get the inside jokes and tbh most of the vanillas take a lot of jokes and innuendos tongue in cheek

Thank you. We'll take a look. Last time we were up there we went to Oban then a ferry to Isle of Barra. Up through the Outer Hebrides then onto a ferry to Skye Then down through Skye and back home. A brilliant week away

We're hoping to do this next year but we're not fans of camping so we'll be looking for some decent B&B's or hotels, anyone with any recommendations we'd love to hear from you.
