Anybody had a go at drag racing?

I had a go on Sunday and it’s harder than it looks but is the motorsport equivalent of fishing.

Did manage a best on the quarter mile run of 11.7 seconds @ 124mph though

I had a gen one busa with plenty of bits added and used to take it out now and again.

Tried it once, the wig blew off, the draft up the mini skirt bruised my balls and the stilettos got jammed on the pegs.

Ohhhhhhhh different kind of drag.

I went down york race way years ago on my R6, as part of the straightliners events.

I can't remember what I got, but it was fun doing it.

I (S) used to go with a guy in the 90s who raced drag bikes.

Many weekends spent in a caravan at Santa Pod.

My best friend married his mate who also used to race.

I've got a large A3 album full off photos from race days.

Thinking about doing it again at end of month. It’s a top speed event where it’s your speed at the half mile and the mile.

Wonder if I can get the Daytona up to 160mph?
