Helmet cam

Can anyone recommend a good priced helmet cam or handlebar fix,wear open face so must be suitable..

Ebay and get a used go pro.

Plenty available and you might find one with the correct mount.

I bought mine used. Wore it for a few times before the novelty wore off.

I use a Dog Cam Bullet HD2

Brilliant camera, small excellent quality. Mounted mine onto the bike with a hardwire kit, on and off with the ignition switch and automatically rewrites the card when full.

I have go pro4. I did have it helmet mounted on the top but it felt really annoying as you could feel the weight of it lever on the helmet when my head moved.

It also pulled back on my head at speed due to being as aerodynamic as a brick.

Depending on what bike you have I could clamp mine on the fork stantion just below the nose fairing on my 996.

The video is pretty cool as you can see the suspension reacting to the road surface.

Just make sure it at the top of the stantion at the full dive of the fork and clear of the brake lines.

If you have a naked bike then I would definitely go with a handle bar mount.
