As usual the club was spotless, bar well stocked and Mary and Glen were the perfect hosts. ( Mary even remembered her nickname for me lol ).

| Visited the No.3 for the first time last night for the 80's themed night. We have been meaning to try hear for ages, so it was nice to finally cross it off the "clubs to try" list.
We had heard good things, and they weren't unfounded. The layout of the club was really well thought out and nice, clean and spacious. We liked the couples room and the dividing line on the floor is a great idea. Social area was excellent as well, lots of comfy big sofas and chairs and a good pool table.
Unfortunately it was probably the hottest night of the year outside and the heat was stifling pretty much everywhere you went. Consequently we didn't feel like getting hotter and sweatier so it was pretty much a social evening for us, but we could definitely see the potential in the building if the mood had been different.
We were particularly impressed with the way the club balanced the ratio of single men to couples/females. We saw no-one being followed around or bothered by anyone, and everyone seemed very nice.
Staff were extremely friendly and a good laugh.
This is going to be a club on our regular rotation list from now on. |
