| wow what can we say this was our first time very warm friendly staff every one smiling had a tour round places so clean even the big hot tub no chemicals just water every room clean and very fresh food at 10.30 was lovely couples wasnt clicky we was made to feel very welcome made a few friends there was so many lovely ladies we didnt know where to put our eyes lol. we was told that this club was one of the best in uk my god he was right we will be regulars for sure thank you for making us feel very welcome |

| Sat 20th was our first visit here and, boy, were we impressed! The building is a lovely converted pub with loads of parking directly outside and no other buildings nearby. The hosts were very friendly, the decor very tasteful and classy and the interior large and very clean. The large hot tub could easily fit at least 8 couples and didn't have the nasty chemical smell. We loved all the beds surrounding the hot tub and they were always busy. Very nice locker room and the bathroom was the best we have seen at any club. Food was outstanding and loved the midnight rum bananas and ice cream. The bar was well stocked. Buying drinks did make the night a bit more expensive but the competitive entrance fees make up for that. Drinks can be put on your locker key and paid for at the end of the night but u will need to leave £10 deposit. They do accept debit and credit cards although there are small fees for these (£1 debit, £3 credit). All in all we had a great party night and would definitely come again! |

| We had our first night at the club last night (20/08/11). We are members of other clubs and have to say that our first impressions are that this is the best club we have visited.
So much thought has been given to the layout and positioning of the rooms.
The disco is far enough away from the bar not to be intrusive of conversations.
The lockers are placed so you can get changed without being seen by passers by (hard to look elegant when doing this)
The spa is huge with a view of beds that were seeing a lot of action.
There are rooms where you can go if you want a little more privacy.
We have never done single guy nights but noticed that one room was marked as couples only, this might tempt us into trying one of these nights as we would have a place to escape too should we feel we need it.
We were made to feel really welcome by both the staff and the membership, there didn't appear to be any cliques at all.
We had decided to stay overnight as we live about a hour and half away, we found the room clean and comfortable, nothing to elegant but somewhere to get your head down after an active evening.
Will we be visiting again? YES we can't wait!!

| Our first visit to any club was last night, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The atmosphere helped us relax, as did the helpful staff. It was clean, the huge jacuzzi was the perfect temperature, and the lighting everywhere was flattering. It was busier than we expected, and it was nice to stay over in their hotel. We will be going back! |

| Our 1st visit to Va last night. Staff so friendly had a good giggle with the bar man. Layout fabulous. Hotel meets your needs for night. Didn't get to play as much as we'd like but that's our own fault lol. Can't wait to return. X x x |

| We went to VA for the 2nd time in as many weeks and once again had a fantastic evening. Suffering from the usual bout of nerves we found all the staff again to be friendly, welcoming and a lot of fun. Jules had us giggling for ages! Can't wait for our next visit xx |

| I went to the VA as a single man and had a great time! Even though it was a slow night, I still got to meet with a great couple and "recharge" in the hot tub. I hope to take my gf there net time and have a REALLY good time! |

| Went for a first visit on Saturday 6th...and loved it. Fantastic crowd, loved the decor and atmosphere of the club. Had a boogie on the dancefloor, few drinks then hit the jacuzzi and met some great people...A highly recommended club which by the sounds of it is getting more popular each week. | We decided to make a visit, as was close to the area.
We're glad we made the effort to get there - such a shame it's so far from us (3-4 hrs by car). The place is really nice, in fact a lovely venue, keeping the character from the venues previous life.
Being younger than most there, we didn't meet anyone for fun (however everyone we did meet or chat to was very friendly), but that doesn't matter when the place is so nice you can enjoy it together.
Look forward to our next visit.. although unfortunately it might be a while :( |

| Had another great night at VA on Saturday (30th), was our 5th time and still loving it.
The club is so right, relaxed, sheik and very sexy. It's always clean, well laid out with lots of beds and little play areas. The Jacuzzi is always warm and inviting and a great ice breaker.
Joules, Scott, Michelle n Colin are such a giggle and Audrey and Dax are always friendly and up for a chat.
Always looking to improve the club and are happy to listen to the suggestions from the guests.
We had a fantastic night which was topped off with a birthday cake for Mr E (39, poor bugger!!) and a group of about 14 of us (all so so lovely) sitting in the bar after a busy night unwinding and reminiscing.
Not much else to say, great club, great people, love it.....

| We spoke to the owners by email that we were contemplating attending the 70s/80s theme night, as this was going to be our “first time”. The emails helped us feel comfortable enough that we still wanted to attended, so we took the plunge and set of the following Saturday. When we did get there any nerves or concerns we had disappeared as soon as we were met by Adam Ant and Buster Blood Vessel in the car park!
The owners gave us a guided tour, and even then we didn’t feel like we were being paraded around like “newbie’s”, but actually felt like we were valued guests.
The club was amazing. Stunning decor, a decent bar with fair prices, great play rooms, and a stunning hot tub, to which we spent a fair amount of time. There was no clique feel to the place, with most couples talkative, and more importantly, enjoying themselves.
This was a couple’s only night, and for us that removed any pre conceived pressure we had placed upon ourselves about dealing with unwanted advances. To be fair, the way the club is run, I doubt even on single men nights there would be any hassle.
We loved the night, and have already planned a return trip soon.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and we were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived!
Would strongly recommend this club to other people, and we enjoyed it so much we're going again next weekend! |

| Bearing in mind we went to the club unprepared and on a whim we had a great time. The venue was clean and very smart. The staff were very welcoming and pus us first timers at ease. We decided just to watch mainly but did have a play a few times with each other which the single guys and couples clearly respected. If we felt more adventrous we felt the single males and couples were easy to approach. Will go again and maybe try a saturday night as was informed they are busier. |

| We just love The VA. By far our favourite place. We usually stay in the hotel (room 10 being our fave- you knoiw who we are now dont you?) as its so clean, tastefully decorated with great facilities.
We first went on a friday, met a couple of guys and got real down and dirty and Mrs D had a real screamer of a night! Our next visit was the 'Wild West' night and boy did we have some fun!
Their hot-tub is the best we've ever used, large, deep and really HOT, the beds are ALL clean, fresh towels etc. Even though the rooms are all open (non lockable) we LOVE it, being watched, watching and getting lots of play invites in the process.
The owners and so friendly and considerate. They will show you around the venue. The bar has normal pub prices so no nasty surprises.
All in all, the best venue in the south by far, great for newbies and experienced alike.

| Went to VA on saturday night for the first time as an invitation from friends and once we got over the hotel debarcle (our error) we were very pleaantly suprised with the excellent venue..great people that organise it, very clean and has all you could need. Will deff be going again and find a hotel closer next time or stay in house..x |

| Had the pleasure of attending this lovely club last night. It was my first ever club night and I could not have found a more friendly and welcoming venue. From the welcome too the good night, staff were on hand at all times. All needs catered for and well thought out little extras. My fellow guests were friendly and fun. | We visited this club 2 weeks ago and found it to be a fantastic venue. Although they stated that it was part finished it was as good if not better than other clubs we have visited. Only point i could make it that the toilets could do with regular clean up visits, as getting on through the night they were getting a bit messy (especially walking about in bare feet!). But overall it was a great night, and well worth the admission fee. |

| What a brilliant venue with friendly staff and a guided tour. The actual place is beautiful and it sounds like it will get better and better. The clientelle were lovely, respectful and the whole atmosphere was almost serene. I look forward to attending again very soon...and...causing mayhem! I booked a room - very comfortable bed and great value.I highly recommend this venue. |

| went too and stopped over at vanillas last night , and stopped over x was so nice to fall into bed at the end of play x i can describe the club as pure delight , what a night so comfy and so much too do , we mingled at the bar , had a dance in the disco, then stripped to our towels had a soak in the spa and a little play nundge nude was so relaxed x ladies this place is a pure treat, soft bedding no porn totaly spoilt here xyou have to go have a play .we came out the spa to a lovely big table of food that we tucked into and went for a chill in the snug were we chatted to couples which then led to play x one complaint about this club is the time just flies when you are there and cant wait to go back for morex would love to see this club open in the day for a bit of daytime fun x all i can say is please sir can i have some more xxxx |

| A group of our party regulars met up here on Sat to visit a "new club" for the first time together.Some of us met early afternoon and found our hotel rooms comfortable but we now know which hotel room to recommend!(It had much the largest floor space and a bath and a tv!lol)The club itself is beautifully laid out and furnished and we cannot praise enough the club staff who were funny, friendly and attentive. Thank you for that. The bar area became very busy very quickly by 9pm and there was a variety of many couples all dressed to impress!but the playing kicked off after the lovely buffet at 10.30pm.when many changed into just towels The two large playrooms were busy. The large hot bath (not enough bubbles to be a jacuzzi) was HOT deep and busy all night! but with the heat of the evening the rooms became very stuffy.The memory foam mattresses on the play bed room were gorgeous!and there were plenty of corners and nooks to go to play. No locked/private playrooms however. (We were amused to note how still we all found the atmosphere , subdued it felt at times, which in turn compelled you to remain quiet also . We all came to the same conclusion independently and were fascinated how the opinions matched. maybe we are usually just a rowdy bunch!! lol.) The bar prices we decided were on the expensive side (not extortionate), club was hot and soft drinks matched alcohol for prices.When we all met up as we checked out next morning we were disappointed not to see any staff around as we really wanted to say thanks for a good evening. More seating needed outside. Changing room felt small when club is busy and locker number system needs spreading out as everyone had lockers in same area of room proving awkward for space. This review is a majority verdict opinion from the 6 couples we went with. We hope its fair and thorough. The management deserve to do well here as they've thought long and hard about creating a very plush and beautiful looking club and are very willing to be offered ideas or opinions which is refreshing. The members enjoyment is priority to them and they should be congratulated..We we're glad we chose to visit The Vanilla Alternative as part of our weekend away. Would we go back? Yes if someone had a party event there. |

| Back again Sat evening, this Club goes from strength to strength, although we all know it's the visitors that make a club (and we met some great new friends again) the staff / owners & their vision are making this one of the best venues around - keep it up!

| Went to the club for the first time to meet old friends of ours. Club in good location with plenty of parking . Was made to feel very welcome and got a club tour . Lots of room and lots of play areas . jacussi a bit hot but that just a minor point better than being cold. Lots of nice people in and went away with a few more friends to see there in the future we will def be back |
