| after our last honest review of this club was rudely removed we feel we have the right to our honest opinion so we are now writing another ... we visited the club on a friday night hoping for a fun and enjoyable evening. on entering we found the club almost empty only a few couples were there and 2 single men . as we thought this was a sexy swingers club to see people sat there in what we can describe as work clothes eg work boots and dirty looking jeans females wearing jeans and jumpers to us this is not sexy attire as it states in club rules members of the club to wear smart casual or sexy clothing. also the topic of convesations did nothing to lift the mood cples discussing buying new carpets ????? we thought this was a swingers club ?????? we have noticed the decline in people attending the club and also the almost none exsistant fun going on . as to say we will not be returning in a hurry. we do wish all who go to the club lots of fun and to the management we hope you can pull it back around to its former fun and glory. this is our honest opinion of what was once a fun club to attend and hope that once again our review is not removed as we feel everyone is entitled to their honest opinion xxxx |

| Sadly as the last post wasn't a review it had to be taken down, but it was a great post about how embarrasing all this arguing is when an "avoid" review is given and how it does no favours to the club or the people who attend it.
When anyone leaves a review, the Club owner has a right to comment, but it might be best to take it private after that rather than having a conversation/dispute on here.

Thankyou for your acidic but nevertheless welcome comments the points of which are noted. It is ofcourse your perogative to take others comments into consideration, however, given your comments about fairness and honesty it would surely be prudent to check the club out for yourself! We would also point out that it is fabswingers moderators who remove inappropriate comments, and not the Attic club management. Further, your comments regarding reporting persons from sending you replies also contradicts your own stance. If you are able to scrutinise the conditions for posting reviews you will clearly see that you are in breach of the aforesaid conditions. Should you have difficulty in understaning the replies that we have made please seek clarification from the moderators. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review and I am very suprised that staff from the Attic are able to write with decency and integrity which you have - as all we have had is abuse up to now.
We don't mean to sound rude but if we had mentioned all the problems to staff we would have been complaining all night!
Seriously could you have unstuck the carpet, made the smells disappear, do a back search and urine dipping to find the culprit of the drinks going missing?
In all fairness maybe we should have reported the drunk lady touching Mike, however this reall was the nail in the proverbial coffin.
You say that we are in the minority - we beg to differ - we have received over 50 inboxes off people who have visited in the last few months and shared our opinion but daren't share it due to the abuse that was imminent!
If you look at your reviews you will see it is the same people time and time again leaving you fabulous reviews - this doesn't make for good promotion for your club at all - it just looks incredibly desperate - which I am sorry to say you club appeared to us.
The Attic in our opinion was seedy and grimy and full of people who were unattractive - mainly because they do not seem to know what a good wash and a comb means!
We were also told about violence and drugs in this club - we are glad we saw your place for what it is first time - and will NEVER return.
We thank you for your response - as previoulsy said it is nice to speak to staff from the Attic without getting abuse. |

Firstly and most importantly, we are sorry that you found the Attic Club not to your liking. The Management at the club take all negative comments extremely seriously, and strive to make visits enjoyable. We are sorry that you allegedly had your refreshments taken, however, if you had spoken to a member of the Management about your concerns, we may have been able to resolve that particular issue,however, given that you decided to withold your complaint you didn't afford us that opportunity! Regarding your other concerns, I would respectfully point out that again you should have spoken to a member of the Management team, and we would have addressed your concerns. You are ofcourse entitled to your opinion, but would point out your vastly in the minority! To conclude, we do not encourage other clients to mail you and would certainly not condone anyone "blocking" your mail box. | I am only going to say this once - Mike and I DID ATTEND on Saturday so I will not tolerate abuse from people, especially staff stating this review has been 'put up' in some way! Goodness can people not give an honest review without being linched for it? I do not understand why it would be a biased review because we are from the centre of Nottingham?? Crikey we have been to quite a few clubs up and down the country!
I meant to say the general consensus is - if a man were to touch a woman without asking in a swingers club then there would be serious bother - but Mike was groped by a drunkard woman and this was not frowned upon? In my opinion this is totally uncalled for!
To attand a club for a first time and my wine and a can go missing leaves a lot to be thought of the clientelle! Yes it may only be a couple of glasses os Rose and a can of lager but it was the principle!
The majority of people 'swinging' at this club are middle aged and over, sadly unattractive due to lack of care for their appearance and personal hygeine - it really is a sorry state of affairs.
We had been warned off by many ex visitors of the club - but we like to find these things out for ourselves - it really makes me think I shall listen in future - a waste of effort getting ready, fuel to get there, money on the door and baby sitting fees.
This might be some people's cup of tea - but for people like Mike and I - cleanliness, personal hygeine and some idea of decor is paramount! |

| Well we are not quite sure where to start - but it has to be somewhere.
We attended this club on Saturday evening (10-11-12) much to our regret.
We were so hyped up regarding our visit, we have spoken to regulars and even had a good old chat with management prior to going.
Upon arrival we found ourselves off a beaten track in a very gloomy uneven carpark in a run down industrial estate. Getting to the club once out of the car is a nightmare - firstly managing heels on such uneven terrain but also feeling self concious in such a gloomy setting.
We opened the door to the club and couldn't help but notice a fusty mothball type smell hit us upon entering.
We paid our fee to get in which we thought to be reasonable but were a little dumfounded when neither of us were asked for any form of I.D - I would have thought this be paramount for the safety of visiting clients???
We were shown around and quite frankly we should have followed out gut instincts and walked away there and then - this place really is like something out of the 1970's - the decor is shocking, the carpets are sticky and all interior either gloomy or carboot quality!
After the guided tour we made our way downstairs to open our drinks which we had bought with us as this place has no drinks facilities. I had taken a bottle of Rose wine and my husband just a couple of cans as he was driving. We sat on some mock leather sofas near a large screen and tried to relax, I personally just felt really uncomfortable.
There were men who looked like they had been working on cars all day for a living and gone straight to this place without changing and washing. Other men were in scruffy jeans or track suit bottoms - I found this repulsive myself especially seeing as though Mike and I had made an effort.
Don't get us wrong - it wasn't just the men who were scruffy - a couple of the ladies were like it too - they looked more like bouncers - not a scrap of effort made at all - we thought swinging was sexy!
We did venture upstairs for a short while where a few different people were 'playing' it all seemed so seedy - people lay flat on their backs staring at the ceiling is not our idea of fun - it seemed like a job not sexy fun.
We returned back downstairs to find that a lot of my wine had been consumed by someone and Mikes second can had gone also from the public fridge! We were both absolutely appalled!
The final straw for us was a larger lady clearly intoxicated leering all over Mike touching him without asking first - we are sorry to say she really did have an odour issue!
At this point we left.
Serioulsy we have been to quite a few clubs accross the country and I didn't think it was even possible for places as seedy & grimy as this to exist. It really did seem like the people with no class, basic manners, cleanliness or sexiness all piled up on a weekend.
We do appologise if this FACTUAL review has caused upset to the club and regulars - but we both wish that someone would have written something like this prior to our visit and we would have never wasted our time. Yes the price of the Attic is cheap - but we would rather pay that little bot extra and get the quality. |

| Revisited the Attic after a long break and was soon made very welcome by the regulars again, it felt like I'd never been away :)
Some interesting changes being made in the club. I can't really fault this friendly little club and I intend to be back regularly.

| went to the atic 4 the greedy girls nite with 3 of my m8s off fab it was a fantastic nite everyone was playing it was the best one ive been to didnt wont to leave was haveing that mutch fun the changing rooms was frezing but every were else was nice and worm will be visting again very soon |

| Went to the attic on Monday 1/10/12. Had a spit roast with a couple who I met in the hot tub. I wish i lived in derby as I would be there probably every day if i could. Very clean and friendly staff. Just wish i could of stayed around longer, a lady was eyeing me up who i would of definateley shagged. Next time im in derby this is my first port of call!!!!!!!! |

| Went to the attic last night and had a really fun night and met some great people. great little club and the staff have a few original ideas for its future. In all it was an absolute little treat and i Will definitely be making a return visit. |

| Have visited the Attic recently with a couple of lady friends, i must say i have always found everyone friendly.
Like anywhere some nights are busy and others quieter, but there is always someone or something happening to make an enjoyable evening.
Im sure when the extension finally takes place even more people will visit.
I find it difficult to understand some of the negative comments made and can only assume people dont make the effort to chat, looking forward to another visit this weekend with a car full of ladies lol, shame im only the taxi |

| hi this is a late review as i tried to put one on on week beginning 23rd of september but it had closed when i came to place it.
we attended on the 22nd september as guests of friends we have made on Fab.
we were introduced to lots of people ALL who made us feel very welcome and chatted to us throughout the whole evening.
we were given a tour of the proposed building work that is being carried out.this was very interesting as it has made us want to return to see it completed as it would be a club to be proud to attend.
it was a busy night so play areas were taken up but that happens at most clubs that have a busy night so nothing unusual.
there was 2 incidents that were not seen by ourselves as they were dealt with in a very profeesional manner.
onn the whole it was a very enjoyable evening and Ann and I will be returning, as the people who attend the club make the club enjoyable
it was worth the drive down can't wait to make the next one.

| the person below is so fullof rubbish there is no painting on the wall costing threehundred and fifty pounds he must have vivid imagination there is a wallpaper mural that cost three pounds off e bay i still have the receipt to prove.as too planning we have been granted change oof use with no objections from anyone we also have a letter from Derby fire service saying that we have complied with everything they suggested and that we are fully compliant witth all safety standards . allthe above can be checked at the club so why come out with obvious lies wich proof of the real thing exists |

| I have been to the Attic on several occasions and always found the place clean and staff friendly. You sometimes get little problems but they are sorted.
If you want an honest view of The Attic read the comments on my profile from couples I have met there.
I also take cpls who are new to the club scene as it's a very friendly, relaxed, non pushy place.
It is what it is, a nice local club.
Fab you do need to sort the reviews out and stop personel issues and multi posts. |

| Actually record is 34 and I hold it lol. I was there in September so may have been me.
Well been a few times recently but I only go to cinema in day or greedy girls nights.
Have to say staff look after me. Always make sure I have all I need.
I find the staff really respectful and on the times I've reported someone they have dealt with it.
I do think that on other nights it maybe different. But until I attend a different night I can not comment.
As with all clubs it won't suit all. I am not to happy about a recent event but I was only at that night for a short while.
My experience is that the management try to make it something for all. I don't attend Saturdays because they don't let enough single guys in for me.
Think though that some concerns may need to be taken up by staff. But I've never had a problem in taking my concerns straight to Ron.
Off there again soon.

| Been to this club many times and always found it a fun, friendly atmosphere, people will chat and there are plenty of players who go. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are free which is a nice touch. The extension will add many more play rooms both public and private and should be amazing when completed.
Just a point about greedy girls nights. Have been regularly to these and they are not like normal club nights. They are great fun but the clue is in the name, they are for girls wanting to be greedy, and to play with a number of guys (either in total or at the same time lol). As such normal ratios do not apply as the idea is that there are plenty of guys for the ladies that are there to play with. Wouldn't have thought that was rocket science to realise to be honest, but if it isn't what you're looking for then don't go on those nights, just means more fun for those of us who do. |

| Please read, its funny but true.
On greedy girls night in Sept 2012,the Attic allowed had (47)forty seven men in between the hours of 8pm and 10:30 pm and charged £20 each.
There was also a female who "entertained" 32 men that night, i was asked several times to accompany her but refused along with 14 other men,she now hold the record of 32(thirty two) men in one night.
The management all know who she is and are proud of her record, because she increased the previous record by four.
The question then arises, how does this female hold the record in your club if you only let in 15 men?
Consideration must be given that collectively fifteen men walk in and left, then another fifteen walked in collectively and left and then another fifteen walked in again collectively.
Then 2 walked out to allow another 2 in.
The above action was taken to keep the club level at a constant 15 men.
The last paragraph just did not happen and the facts are simple, you let in as many men as possible in there, as mentioned earlier there are no rules reference to ratios.
