| As a regular at the club I was more than disappointed by the treatment we received by the club manager last night when we experienced some unwanted, nuisance and pushy behaviour by someone who clearly didn't know how to behave in a club environment or understand etiquette let alone consent.
We are members and have been regularly attending for a few years. More recently on their Saturday night bi nights (greenhouse night not the chams night) there have been more and more men who attend to club with the expectations of having sex with women and thinking it's ok to touch women without consent.
Last night, whilst my partner and I were playing we experienced this again and whilst politely asking this person to stand back, he became verbal and began arguing that it was a public space. It was, however I did not feel comfortable and did not want this person stood right next to me. He could watch but from a distance. Not happy with our request, they complained to the manager (I do not feel like the truth of the situation was fully explained to him) and brought the manager up to said room.
Without assessing the situation, or asking myself and my partner who were mid play if we were ok with this, or telling us that he was allowed to be so close in the room, he told said nuisance that he was allowed in the room. At this point he proceeded to sit right next to us to watch.
Clearly ignoring our requests and feeling entitled to watch, we swiftly got up and left.
The manager did not speak to us, apologise or explain his reasons for allowing this person so close. When there is no door on a dungeon that couples would like to use, does that automatically mean that anyone should be allowed to watch and get close even if it meant the couple playing and trying to enjoy themselves without causing a problem to others, feels uncomfortable or unsafe?
This person had already caused a nuisance in his remarks to the bar lady, asking when she would find him a woman, which others heard and instantly felt uncomfortable. He was asking the group of friends we were with for sips of their drink. Alot of people felt uncomfortable but when brought up to the manager it was blatantly ignored.
Instead, regular members were left feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, their evenings ruined and felt completely unsupored by management.
I have been left very upset by last nights events, and I didn't want to leave this review but I feel that that current problems that are happening with single males need to be brought up. An email will also be sent to club owners to bring this to their attention.
It comes to something when management favours and tolerates these single men who have never been before over their regulars.
I will however note that Charlie who works there is an absolute diamond and came to check I was ok. She's always so kind and pleasant to customers and will always listen when people complain, however it's just sad that the boss doesn't listen.
I do think the cloud could benefit from the dungeon being lockable so it's isn't always a free for all, or even a gat in the doorway like they do in darlo. |

| Visted Saturday night and had a fun time. It was more about relaxing this time for us than playing. The only thing which spoiled it was than some members of the club don't know how to use a bin. Please if you have finished a can of drink or a plastic cup put it in the bin. |

| We’ve been to Chameleon a few times as a couple and always loved the vibe. Friendly staff, respectful crowd, and everyone really seems to understand boundaries which makes the atmosphere so comfortable and enjoyable. We still don’t know many people there yet, so if you spot us, come say hi. Would love to make more friends (couples) and meet more fun, open minded couples ?? |

| We went there in Saturday for the first time. Upon arriving the staff were really friendly, but pointed out that Saturday was for gay/bi/trans people rather than straight swingers, but we were welcome in anyway and would probably attact a lot of attention. There was a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere from all the other guests, and is soon became apparent who the straight guys were when we went up to play in an open area, although they were mostly respectful. There were a good variety or rooms for different tastes however the club is very tired looking and could do with a revamp in areas. The club is also a little musty in areas and there was a strong smell of exotic tobacco coming down the stairs from the outdoor smoking area. There was also no cleaning sprays and paper towels to clean down afterwards which we found to be a little icky, but otherwise it was pretty clean. Apart from the improvements we would look to go on a Friday night in future as the clientele would be more in tune with what we're after. |

| We visited for the first time in years on Friday, for the last Friday of the month theme night.
The staff were friendly, it was certainly busy with couples and single females. we personally would have liked more single males but we recognise that's not for everyone. |

| 20/2/2026 went to chamlians for are second visit club seems ok needs a little tlc don’t seem to be any atmosphere as we were told it was busy but didn’t seem it to us and the single guy to couple ratio seemed high staff seemed a bit pre occupied unless you were locals chatted to few couples but didn’t go anywhere maybe are last visit |
