| Help wanted, anyone willing to have a mail chat with some advice.
We are about to purchase a caravan, nothing special we don't have a great budget but have seen what appears to be some good looking vans around the £1000 - £1200 price range.
As a caravan novice I have hundreds of questions about getting the best from what we are going to do.
First some background, there is me and Sasha and often a single female with our two small dogs so we are looking to purchase a 4 berth van.
We want to tour not stay in one area more than a day or two.
We work from home and don't have kids so will perhaps be going away for weeks at a time (work from home means that providing we have internet access home is wherever we are at the time) well that and a post office lol.
We have checked the size by weight of the kind of vans our vehicle can legally tow (we have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 7 seat.
We know how to get info on overnight camping sites but what are the rules regarding laybys, ie how long can you park in a layby for and is there anything you cannot do in them like unhitch the vehicle for example.
