Message Delete function

To me, the subject field removal is neither up nor down, however why not just make it optional?

More importantly, the delete message function is a total pain in the ass. On a touchscreen device it’s all to easy to accidentally delete a message.

When we wink, we’re asked to confirm it, as if it’s a check to see if you really want to give your bank details to a Nigerian prince, yet to delete a message there’s nothing. A single slip of the finger and very little chance to undo.

Please can we remove the delete button without a confirmation popup?!

Can you add a screenshot to your profile highlighting the problem bit (it'll be rejected but we can see)

Or message it to us as a direct message

Sorry, misunderstood there!

Yes I’ve uploaded two images.

Basically, because mobile browsers use “touch up inside” as a mouse click, if you start scrolling inside the delete bit, or on the delete button, it’s all to easy to stop scrolling, then lift your finger causing a touch up inside event resulting in a deleted message.

I hope that makes sense!

In reply to PM because stupidly we can’t just reply to an admin message!

It’s a 15 pro max but the text is zoomed for accessibility (eyes ain’t so great!)

It’s not always zoomed and the issue is the same.

Hope that helps.
